I know it's necessary that a certain amount of belt-tightening take place given the higher tabs at the grocery store and gas pump, but remember that acquiring a new skill can also help you create a new source of money flow. So, when it comes to a seminar or adult education class, you may want to think twice before crossing that off your "to do" list. You never know when an avocation might become a vocation!
